HOW TO GET THERE

Train

Town Hall Station is a 10-minute walk to ICC Sydney via Bathurst Street.

Tram

The Light Rail travels right through a number of Darling Harbour stations including ICC Sydney’s stops, Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre. The Light Rail starts at Central Station in the CBD and travels to Dulwich Hill in the inner west.

Bus

ICC Sydney has its own bus stop. Bus routes 389 and 501 stop at Harris Street near Allen Street – a 10-minute walk from ICC Sydney.

Parking

ICC Sydney has two car park facilities located within the Exhibition Centre and ICC Sydney Theatre, comprising a total of 826 car spaces. Additionally, there are a number of secure car parks located in and around Darling Harbour, the closest located at Harbourside Car Park, 100 Murray Street, Pyrmont. 

Taxi

There are two taxi ranks at Darling Harbour; one at Wheat Road near the IMAX Cinema and one behind the shopping centre on Iron Wharf Place. The best taxi drop off and pick up locations include the new Iron Wharf Place and Zollner Circuit, both accessed via Darling Drive.

Airport

Darling Harbour is only 8km from Sydney Airport with an average drive time of 25 minutes.

Change Rooms

Located on Level 2 of Exhibition Centre and provides the following features:

  • A height-adjustable adult-sized change table
  • A constant-charging ceiling track hoist system
  • A right-hand railing ambulant toilet as well as an island toilet
  • An automatic door with a clear opening of 950 mm and push-button entry/exit
  • Nappy bin sanitary disposal unit and wash station

 

The changing place is open to ICC Sydney guests at all times

Two Prayer Rooms are available at ICC Sydney for prayer, meditation, and reflection. The Prayer Rooms are non-denominational, however for those that require, a small number of prayer mats are provided in both rooms.

The two Prayer Rooms can be found on Level 3 of Exhibition Centre, opposite meeting room E3.5 and are always open and available to ICC Sydney guests.

Carpark: Car Park 1 (P1) is located on the ground floor of Exhibition Centre and provides easy access to all three venues. P1 comprises: Eight (8) accessible car spaces – 20 electric charging stations.

Car Park 2 (P2) is located at the rear of ICC Sydney Theatre and provides easy access to Exhibition Centre and ICC Sydney Theatre. P2 comprises: Four (4) accessible car spaces – Five (5) electric charging stations.

A limited number of wheelchairs are available to hire free of charge with provision of photo identification. To hire a wheelchair, please see us at the Convention Centre Customer Service (ground floor lobby).

Please note that wheelchairs are a lightweight manual model, which must be operated by the hirer, their carer, or companion. Wheelchairs may not be taken outside of the building and must be returned to the collection point daily.

Inclusionary spaces such prayer rooms, parents and carers facilities, quiet rooms, and all gender inclusive options that cater to all guests.

Accessible toilets RH and LH – Wheelchair and ambulant accessible toilets are available throughout the venue, including both left- and right-hand railing ambulant toilets.

ICC Sydney’s Quiet Room can be found on Level 3 of the Exhibition Centre, near the ICC Sydney Theatre (room E3.1). The quiet room provides a space to relax with basic furnishings, fresh drinking water and low lighting.

Accredited service animals are welcome inside the venue. To assist our team, please display their identification badge or medallion. If your service animal needs to relieve itself, please notify one of our friendly customer service team members who will direct you to the nearest outdoor area. If required, a bowl of water can be provided for your service animal upon request – please enquire at one of our customer service desks.

The Exhibition Centre can be accessed stair-free via multiple lifts and escalators. All ramps in this area are also gradient compliant (excluding through landscape gardens).

Lift access is located at Moriarty Place, Level 2 concourse at the Convention Centre, P1, and Tumbalong Boulevard. Vehicle drop off points can be found at Iron Wharf Place and Zollner Circuit. The Exhibition Centre halls are located on Level 1 and Level 4. The ground floor of the Exhibition Centre is occupied by Car Park 1 (P1).
